If solitude and a reasonable room rate are more important than being in the center of the action, this is your place. Rooms are smartly decorated with Mexican textiles and art in the several two-story buildings that frame a small, heated pool and lush landscaping. They offer a complete, cooked-to-order Mexican breakfast in the morning that could include banana-walnut pancakes, or an omelet covered in a creamy mushroom sauce. If you like to walk, Bungalows is about 10 blocks from the beach, or about 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucas town; pleasant if you're in the mood.
