ME Cabo Review

In the middle of the most popular beach in Los Cabos, El Médano, is where you'll find the ME—Sol Meliá's entrée into this lively W-style hotel brand. With its huge, bustling pool areas, more daybeds than you can imagine, and hot tubs under the palms, the ME Cabo is a playground for adults. The hotel's swim-up pool bar is the favorite in Cabo. At poolside is the fun and friendly Nikki Beach Restaurant, serving its culinary blend of Asian and Mediterranean dishes, along with chill music, often spun by a DJ. Rooms are chic, ultra-comfortable, and have easygoing wood furnishings and breezy, flowing drapes. A wide range of creatively designed suites is on offer, with names like Energy, Chic, and Nikki. Early reservations are essential here.

Beware of this place!!! They will rip you off! We went to celebrate my wife's birthday in Cabo and we stayed at the Me by Melia. All seemed to be ok until we checked-in and apparently they didn't have a room for us. They said they would upgrade us to a better room for free because of the inconvenience. I even tipped the manager $100 for doing that. During our stay, we would sign the receipts for our purchases at the hotel, and each receipt would state that the exchange rate would be billed at 13 pesos per dollar. WRONG!!! once we got home to our credit card statement, we saw that not only had they charged us for the upgrade of the room but the exchange rate was not 13 pesos to the dollar like they write on their receipts. BE CAREFUL!! We tried settling this matter through the hotel with the manager but never got a call back. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!
