It's all about comfort and privacy at this hacienda-style hotel. An ancient hand-carved door leads into the courtyard-lobby, and stairways curve up to the rooms, spa, and library. Casa del Mar's rooms and Beach Club have just undergone a major renovation. A few steps above the main bedroom, guest quarters have bathrooms with whirlpool bathtubs. Streams, fountains, and gardens lead around the pool to a wide stretch of beach and the restaurant of the Beach Club. This was voted Mexico's Leading Golf Resort, and is near several of Los Cabos' top courses.

We just returned from 5 nights at Casa del Mar and we're dying to go back. The grounds and facilities are beautiful, and it all feels very secluded and private. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was amazing. Food is so-so...breakfast and lunch were consistently excellent, the beach BBQ dinner featured overcooked fish.
