By day it looks like a hole in the wall, but when the sun drops down, this open-air eatery really comes to life. It's one of the few area restaurants open late, and it stays packed until closing, usually around 3 AM. And no one cramming into a restaurant at 3 AM gives a damn about the decor. Old pots, baskets, antique irons, sombreros, and the like hang from the walls and rafters. Tacos and enchiladas come with such tasty fillers as flor de calabaza (squash blossom), nopales (cactus flower), and rajas (poblano chilies) or try their empanadas huitlacoche.
