Legendary and amateur surfers alike claim the prime break-view rooms in this small hotel on the cliffs above Playa Costa Azul. They mingle by the horizon swimming pool and in the cozy restaurant (which is a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal and stunning views), and they schedule their day's activities around the daily surf report. Rooms are spacious enough for two wave-hounds to spread out their gear; some have French doors that open to the sea breezes. The hotel offers its own label of Cabo Surf Tequila, a surf school, and surf board rentals. Just recently, owner Mauricio Balderrama has even added the small Sea Spa, adjacent to the lobby, which offers massages developed for overworked surfers, among other types. Book early at this popular spot.
