Fodor's Review

Small domes and barrel tile roofs top eight buildings at this lovely, hacienda-style resort in the Cabo Del Sol development. Make your way past tiered fountains to the rooms with wrought iron and wood furnishing, Mexican textiles, and terra-cotta floors. The whirlpool tubs and large balconies with ocean views take the hotel beyond chain standards. Standard rooms have either two double beds or one queen, with ocean or garden views. Huge, luxurious pools are surrounded by

palms and all the chaise lounges guests need. The 450-yard beach is beautiful, and sometimes the sea in this sheltered cove is calm enough for a swim.

Absolutely Incredible!!

Stayed here in October of 2005 and everything about this hotel is 1st class, just amazing (decor, rooms, service, spa, pools, etc...). Here are some points that will help you get by: 1) Take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel ($14/pp and located OUTSIDE the airport) as cabs are expensive. But be careful, you will be BOMBARDED by timeshare reps before exiting the hote saying they can get you a free shuttle if you sit thru their presentation.

2) The hotel will also try to get you to take their timeshare presentation, but only once when you initially arrive, after that they'll leave you alone. If you're interested, you can negotiate the gift they're offering you. 3)Restuarants: Food & ambience was great but all very pricey ($25/$30+ entrees). Here they are in order of my preference: a)Pitahayas b)DeCortez c)Tomatoes (also has a buffet breakfast, but pricey @ $25/pp) d)Girasoles (their dinner is ok, but breakfast is terrific - $13/pp all you can eat...very good deal). Lunches during the day are pretty pricey too ($15 for a sandwich) but good. You'll enjoy everything his hotel has to offer, just don't let the timeshare folks throughout all of Cabo get to you.

Outstanding!

We just got back tonight from 7 days at the Sheraton in Cabo. It's a beautiful hotel, a beautiful resort and impeccable service with a smile from everyone. It was incredibly clean, the food was very good - particularily at Girasol's and De Cortez. Somewhat pricey at Tomatoes. I would return in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this hotel.

A little less cash an a lot more class

I've been to a few of the top hotels in Cabo and this is their equal, without the snobs. Fun, beautiful, and the service is always the friendliest.
