The latest U.S. rock plays over an excellent sound system at Cabo Wabo, but the impromptu jam sessions with appearances by Sammy Hagar -- an owner -- and his many music-business friends are the real highlight.

Not a party Bar for sure

We were in Cabo for my daughter's Birthday last year, and after all the CABOWABO hype, we were excited to party there for a birthday.
The staff wasn't friendly at all, all they wanted us to do is buy t-shirts and crap. The so called waitress came by our table maybe twice in an hour...and we ended up having to make runs to the bar every few minutes. ( mind you we had 10 or so people in our group)...
We were very disapointed in the prices & service, expecially when we could go across the street for not only friendlier staff, but the beer was cheaper, too.
I did buy a tshirt though
