Whale-Watching in Los Cabos and Baja Sur

Whale-Watching

The gray-whale migration doesn't end at Baja's Pacific lagoons. Plenty of whales of all sizes make it down to the warmer waters off Los Cabos and into the Mar de Cortés. To watch whales from shore, go to the beach at the Solmar Suites, the Finesterra, or any Corridor hotel, or the lookout points along the Corridor highway. Several companies run trips (about $30-$50 depending on size of boat and length of tour) from Cabo San Lucas. Cabo Expeditions (El Tesoro hotel, Blvd. Marina. 624/143-2700) offers snorkeling and whale-watching tours in rubber boats.
