By Taxi in Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo

Taxis are plentiful, and you can telephone for one or hail it on the street. Fares are reasonable and fixed, but to avoid problems always confirm prices before you get in. The fare from Ixtapa's Zona Hotelera to Zihuatanejo is $4. You can call APAAZ, day or night, for a cab. UTAAZ offers 24-hour radio-taxi service. UTZI is also a dependable company.
