Fodor's Expert Review Tortugranja

This scientific station, run by the Mexican government in partnership with private funding, works to conserve the endangered sea turtle. You can see rescued hatchlings in three large pools or watch larger turtles in sea pens. There's also a small section with seahorses, crabs, and other marine life.

May through October, you can join the staff in collecting and hatching eggs; in the fall you can help release baby turtles.
