Perched on the sugary shores of Playa Norte, this five-story resort is the largest and one of the newest properties on the island. It's also one of the only to offer an all-inclusive plan. Modern rooms have iPod docks, low-hanging lamps, light wooden furniture, marble floors, and balconies, half with ocean views. Suites have Jacuzzis and full-size kitchens. Palapa umbrellas dot the beach, and guests can relax in one of the poolside casitas where massages are offered. There are three on-site restaurants—Sabor (international), Satay (Thai and sushi), and Café del Mar (grill)—but the proximity to downtown restaurants makes the all-inclusive package somewhat unnecessary. Snorkeling tours, golf cart rental, and airport transportation are available upon request.
