El Malecón Review
To enjoy the drama of Isla's eastern shore while soaking up some rays, stroll along this 1 1/2-km-long (1-mile-long) boardwalk that is planned to eventually encircle the island. Currently it runs from Half Moon Bay to El Colonia, with several benches and lookout points. Just past Villa Bella, you'll find a newer section that was recently added. Look for El Monumento de Tortugas (Turtle Monument) along the way.
