Fodor's Review

On the edge of the jagged Barranca de Huentitán, the city's zoo has more than 1,500 animals representing 360 species. In addition to the tropical birds and big cats in Mexico, you'll see rhinos, polar bears, camels, and other exotic creatures. There are two aviaries, a kids' zoo, and a herpetarium with 130 species of reptiles, amphibians, and fish.
