Fodor's Review:

Mexican families and well-informed travelers come here for specialties like lamb birría, which are readied in full view in the vibrantly colored hacienda-style kitchen. The restaurant is on a plaza in one of Guadalajara's oldest neighborhoods, the Nine Corners, so called for its intersecting streets.

Off the beaten path. In an old part of Guadalajara away from downtown. The food is better than good. Even better since you're away from the crowds.
