One block from Tlaquepaque's main plaza and shopping area, this bed-and-breakfast has a great location. And its amenities make it feel like a small hotel. Natural lighting and room size vary, so look at a few before you choose one. Suites face the pool, and are spacious but a bit dark. There's remarkable tile work in the master suite. Hearty breakfasts are served in an inner courtyard, and tasty pizzas are baked in the brick oven at the Italian restaurant. Inexpensive area tours are offered here, too. Pros: Central location, friendly staff, free calls worldwide. Cons: Pool is chilly, some rooms are small.

I stayed here last month and had a wonderful time. Very friendly, helpful staff, clean room, beautiful garden and pool area, and excellent location are just a few of the reasons I'll return. Next time, I'll bring friends and we will all enjoy this relaxing place together.
