Fodor's Review:
Marimbas play beside the bubbling fountain in this gorgeous courtyard behind one of Cozumel's best folk-art shops. Though Pancho's is always busy, the service is excellent and waiters are amazingly patient and helpful. Cruise-ship passengers seeking a taste of Mexico pack the place at lunch; dinner is a bit more serene. The menu is definitely geared toward tourists (written in English with detailed descriptions and prices in dollars), but regional ingredients make even the standard steak stand out when it's flavored with smoky chipotle chili. Other stellar dishes include the cilantro cream soup and shrimp flambéed with tequila.
