Good snorkeling off the rocky shoreline and a relaxed family feel makes this resort, which has both hotel rooms and apartmentlike units, a north-coast favorite. The time-share suites have one or two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a balcony or terrace. Most of the studio-size hotel rooms overlook the jungle; try to get an ocean-view room on an upper floor for the best views and sea breezes. Management goes out of its way to make guests comfortable, providing inexpensive large
jugs of purified water in-room (upon request) and other friendly touches. The hotel has its own PADI dive center.

As a 1st-time guest at Coral Princess, I was impressed by the atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. However, our room was not ready for 2 hours after we arrived (despite being after check-in time), the maids left our room door open after cleaning it one afternoon, the dive shop rented us broken fins, and the car rental shop rented us a jeep with no windows, a broken emergency brake, and a broken speedometer (for full price). Some slight improvement
is needed to make this a great hotel.

Beautiful accommodations. Great snorkling right in front - no boat needed. Excellent on sight dive shop. Great food at two restaurants. Close to town - 1 mile. Warm, friendly staff. The best views! Friendly, friendly, friendly!
