You get a lot for your pesos at this budget hotel, which includes a rooftop sundeck with a view of the water. Three blocks from the ferry in the heart of downtown, it isn't close to the good beaches, but guests tend to share rental-car costs and offer each other rides around town. The hotel is affiliated with the nearby Spa Aroma day spa. The Aqua Bar has live music on weekends (keep this in mind when choosing your room's location). The rooms vary in size and were remodeled in 2006 and 2007. All have double beds that can be pushed together to make a king-size bed for couples. Rooms in front have balconies but can be noisy. Dive packages are available. Walk-in rates are higher than advance-booking rates.
