  Coconuts Review

  This was our first and LAST visit to Coconuts. The food was way over priced and nothing exceptional as far as menu offerings. We were bothered by the roaches crawling on the bar, though it is an outdoor restaurant so it's expected..
  
  The worst of it though is how the manager (owner?) treated us when one of our party members cut her foot on a rock located by a parrot perch. She tripped on the rock hidden in the sand and her foot slpped sideways off her sandle onto the rock tearing the flesh off the bottom of her big toe where it bends.
  
  Bleeding profusely we asked for napkins and water to rinse it off but the manager told us we would have buy a bottle of water. When we got the water, he told us we would have to leave the restaurant to clean her wound as the water dripping on the concrete floor was dangerous to his customers! Hello?! What were we? We had just paid $100 usd for LUNCH. He told us "it was not his problem" that she cut her foot and began mopping at our feet as if trying to "shoo" us away.
  
  As if the roaches weren't enough to creep us out, the sub-par, overpriced food and this man's beligerent attitude give this restaurant an F. His rude and irresponsible manner give the mexican nationality an ulcer on the face of their hospitality.

  Great view!

  It sits on the highest point in the island, a whoping 36 feet above sea level! However that's enough to scan over the islands vegetation and gaze into the blue ocean from above.
  I think they go overboard on catering to the "gringos" but I guess some people like that.
  Be careful if you drink too much because the stairs are a bit scary on the way down.
