Book NowPlaya Azul Golf and Beach Resort Review
Bright and airy, if unremarkable, rooms with sunny terraces face the ocean at this romantic hotel. Small palapas shade lounge chairs on the beach, and you can arrange snorkeling and diving trips at the hotel's own dock. This is the best place on the island for golf: greens fees are included in the room rates, and the hotel sponsors an annual golf tournament. Some guests hit the course daily, often with the hotel's owners. Off the links, a freestanding spa at the hotel's entrance offers body and beauty treatments. The all-inclusive meals option, though no bargain, includes the restaurant's à la carte menu too. The beach club next door serves excellent ceviche and sandwiches and has live salsa on Sunday afternoons.
