Arco del Carmen
Arco del Carmen Review
San Cristóbal's first skyscraper, this elegant tower was constructed in 1597 in the Mudejar (Moorish) style that was popular at the time in Spain. Note the graceful way the three-story-high arch is reflected in the smaller windows on the second and third levels. The tower, which once stood alone, is now connected to the Templo del Carmen.
