Na Bolom Review

Just off the old-fashioned kitchen, this dining room looks much as it did when archaeologists Frans and Trudi Blom did their research here on San Cristóbal. Today the communal, oak dining table is shared by volunteers, artists, scholars, and travelers. A hearty breakfast is served from 7 am to 1 pm, and a five-course dinner is served at 7 pm sharp. Don't expect much local cuisine; the menu focuses more on such rib-sticking dishes as beef stew or roasted chicken. Make sure to call several hours ahead for a reservation.
