The Riviera Maya Sights

Updated 02/18/2015

Fodor's Review

Here you'll see coins, nautical devices, clay dishes, and other artifacts from 18th-century sunken ships, recovered by members of the Mexican Underwater Expeditions Club. The club was established in 1959 by Pablo Bush Romero, who later went on to found the nearby town of Akumal.
