The giant photos of a nightclubbing Sophia Loren on the wall capture the essence of this Italianissimo hot spot. Take in the newest part of Avenida 5 from G.G.'s spacious stone terrace. The cool lounge music gets progressively louder as the evening wears on. Although the extensive menu covers everything from tuna tartare and filet mignon to sesame-crusted shrimp and crispy calamari, the star here is the impeccable pasta, handmade in the restaurant's upstairs kitchen lab by the chef, an Italian import himself.
