Le Rêve Hotel & Spa Review
At the end of a quarter mile of a bumpy dirt road, this intimate resort makes the perfect place for a secluded, romantic getaway. The small hotel's stunning architecture, with a sweeping staircase like a Maya temple, carries over into stylish rooms with white polished-concrete floors and sinks and walls tiled with retro-Copacabana (but locally made) ceramics. Book in advance to score a top-floor master suite, with a huge balcony and magnificent sea view. Garden villas have private gardens with hammocks and plunge pools. The access road is hard to drive, but the resort offers airport transfers for $90 each way. Specials offer big discounts in winter and Sunday through Thursday in spring.
