This 85-acre all-inclusive resort—previously the Aventura Spa Palace—is so big, and has so many activities, that you may have trouble finding a reason to leave. The grounds are stunning, with a meditation pond, yoga hut, labyrinthine Zen path, and botanical gardens. Combining relaxation and fitness, the resort offers an indoor swimming pool with sound therapy, and private coves where guests can snorkel. There's also a 100-foot climbing tower, a putting green, an obstacle fitness trail, and a virtual spinning room. There are plenty of good restaurants and an enormous spa with more treatments than you can imagine. All rooms have hot tubs and balconies, and there's one building designated for families with children. The entrance is from the highway, not through the town.
