This warm, family-friendly resort named after the famous pirate is made up of multi-unit cabanas and newer bungalows on the beach's north end that are more private and charming. The A-frame bungalows are actually more like mini log cabins with a small loft accessible by a ladder and pine furnishings from Chiapas. Each bungalow sleeps five and has a porch that faces a sandy path leading to the beach. The older units have balconies, and some are practically flush with the ocean. The simple rooms have tile floors and are decorated in shades of blue and white. An on-site animal refuge and a game room with Ping-Pong and billiards will appeal to children.
