Boca Paila Fishing Lodge Review

Home of the "grand slam" (fishing lingo for catching three different kinds of fish in one trip), this charming fishing lodge has nine bungalows, each with air-conditioning, two double beds, couches, bathrooms, and screened-in porches. Boats and guides for fly-fishing and bonefishing are included in the price; you can rent tackle at the lodge. Meals consist mainly of fresh fish dishes and Mayan specialties. Although you can book for as few as two nights, the price is astronomical; weeklong stays are comparatively a better deal, though at $6,200 per week for two this is never going to be a cheap ticket.
