Hotel Club Akumal Caribe Review
Back in the 1960s, Pablo Bush Romero established this resort as a place for his diving buddies to crash, and it still offers pleasant, if somewhat dated, accommodations and a congenial staff. Rooms have unstylish rattan furniture and floral bedding, but the ocean views make up for the decor. The bungalows are surrounded by gardens and have lots of beautiful Mexican tiles. There are also two restaurants and a swimming pool. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas are on Half Moon Bay, one bay over from the main operation.
