This trendy but comfortable adults-only hotel is known for its cutting-edge design. A great stone stairway cuts through the stark modern main building; the steps lead to a minimalist, white-on-white open-air lobby, with huge daybeds for sunning, a trendy DJ-ed bar, and a pool illuminated with purple lights. Soundproof rooms are well-outfitted with king beds and a clothesline hung with flip-flops, bananas, and a beach bag. Suites have large balconies with draping hammocks. Each room is outfitted with a noisemaker, the idea being that you can fall asleep to the sound of chirping crickets and awaken to the sound of whistling birds—but rest assured, the club outside means this is no place for sleeping. Guests have free access to Canibal Royal and Mosquito Beach Club.
