Royal Hideaway Review

Art and antiques from around the world fill the lobby, and streams, waterfalls, and fountains fill the grounds of this 13-acre resort on a stretch of pristine beach. Luxurious rooms with two queen-size beds, sitting areas, and ocean-view terraces are set in two- and three-story colonial-style villas, each with its own concierge. Prepare for some serious pampering; service is second to none.

    Service is their specialty

We loved the service provided by our concierge, Rosalia. We had great service at Spices and poolside as well. The breakfast buffet and the dinner menus were great. They brought guacamole and other foods during the day while were at pool. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful and they immediately see to all your inquiries as to outside trips, or stocking the room refrigerator. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful and there are interesting places to visit nearby, such as the Aviario which is within walking distance. You can also easily walk to Playa del Carmen from the front door. I would say that service and beautiful grounds are their specialty.
