Punta Maroma

On a bay where the winds don't reach the waters, this gorgeous beach remains calm even on blustery days. To the north you can see the land curve out to another beach, Playa del Secreto. To the south, the curve that leads eventually to Punta Bete is visible. Guarding this tropical paradise is a security gate that leads to three beachfront resorts—Maroma Secrets, Catalonia Playa Maroma, and Maroma Resort & Spa. Although not accessible through this main entrance, Mandarin Oriental Resort is situated on the far south end of Maroma Beach between Punta Maroma and Punta Bete. Despite the string of towering resorts, the beach here is considered to be one of the best in Mexico.
