Banks and Currency Exchange
Although there are no banks in Bacalar, there's an ATM in the town square. Just past Km 22, turn left at the sign "Bacalar Salida 500m." Pass the white church and turn left. Make the first left again and you'll see the town square and the ATM on your right.
Medical Emergencies
Bacalar's nearest medical facilities are in the neighboring town of Chetumal.
