Akumal Dive Center. The Akumal Dive Center is the area's oldest dive operation, offering reef or cenote diving, fishing, and snorkeling. Dives cost from $40 (one tank) to $130 (four tanks); a three-hour fishing trip for up to four people runs $180. Take a sharp right at the Akumal arches and you'll see the dive shop on the beach. Akumal Dive Shop. This dive shop, which also operates as TSA Travel Agency, organizes daytime and sunset catamaran cruises for $95 per person. You can snorkel with the turtles ($25) or dive at two nearby cenotes ($140). Certification courses as well as specialized programs for kids are also available. Akumal Guide. The small booth inside Hotel Club Akumal Caribe rents bikes for $8 as well as golf carts for $20 for four hours. Maya Dive Center. As Tankah's only dive shop, this outfitter offers diving and snorkeling trips to local reefs and cenotes. This is the only dive shop in the area to use a training pool for certification courses. Morph Kiteboarding. These certified IKO instructors offer lessons starting at $225 that can be tailored for all levels.
