This elegant restaurant in the Paradisus Cancun is the latest Caribbean offering from acclaimed Spanish chef Martin Berasategui. The stylish white dining room is enhanced by mirrored columns, leather chairs, orchid floral accents, and white-gloved service unmatched in Cancun. The adults-only culinary experience begins with a trio of butter (mustard, avocado, salt) that accompanies fresh-baked bread. A seven-course tasting menu is a wonder for the palate, and wines from
around the world, chosen by talented sommelier Carlos Duarte, match each note of the meal. Though à la carte options are available, the tasting, which might include offerings like potato and prosciutto croquettes, baby squid-stuffed tomatoes, and veal tenderloin with potato, bacon, and truffle sauce, is highly recommended. Savor each artfully presented dish, but save room for dessert and the requisite finishing touch: delectable petits fours. Though guests at the all-inclusive Paradisus pay a surcharge for their meal, nonguests are welcomed and encouraged.
