As one of the area's only boutique-style all-inclusives, this modern hotel is stylishly decorated in creams and whites, and offers the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Just outside the sugar-cube like structure is a private marina where a string of yachts and catamarans are ready to set sail. The property has somewhat of a European feel, with spacious rooms equipped with walk-in closets, rain showers, Jacuzzi tubs, mini bars, and French press coffeepots. Although
the hotel is quiet and intimate, it still caters to families with its three swimming pools, kids' club, and pizzeria on the beach. Accommodations fall into one of eight categories, but the two-story beachfront casitas have the best views and come with a rooftop terrace and private plunge pool. The 35,000 square-foot spa has a variety of hydrothermal therapies including a crystal steam Hammam, a Roman Caldarium, and a Swedish sauna. Couples will enjoy the massage for two that concludes with chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne. The hotel's four gourmet restaurants mean you don't have to venture far, unless you opt for the European plan, which will set you back $40 in cab fees (one way) to dine in Cancun.

I want to preface this review by mentioning that we have a reservation for 7 rooms and a destination wedding at the Beloved for this September. We have not yet arrived so I cannot comment on the resort itself. I can, however, comment on the multiple frustrations my fiancé and I have had with the wedding coordinator at the resort, specifically Llenny Gomez. First of all, a quick email takes at least a full business day to get a response, if not longer.
It is very important to us to have a private dinner on the beach for us and our 12 guests. This seems reasonable because EVERY OTHER RESORT will do this. However, Llenny Gomez and Beloved claim they cannot accommodate a private reception for under 25 guests (which their website fails to mention) and they refuse to work with us to make this happen in any capacity. In part, we are guilty because multiple travel agents warned us that Beloved is notorious for poor wedding planning. We've read similar reviews on tripadvisor, and wanted to make our interaction well known to anyone else considering destination wedding here. It is interesting that Beloved often comments after-the-fact on tripadvisor reviews like these and their enthusiasm to correct the situation. So, why is it impossible for us to have a private beach reception, after our wedding, at Beloved?
