Fodor's Review

This multi-structure hotel, comprised of a main building simply called Pyramid and two side buildings, is right next door to sister property and Spring Break mecca Oasis Cancún, however this property prohibits spring breakers and is geared more toward families. The hotel pool—shared between the two hotels and one of the largest in Latin American—stretches more than a quarter of a mile. Tour groups flock to the all-inclusive resort, which offers brightly decorated

rooms with Mexican wrought-iron furnishings and balconies. Pyramid's trapezoidal lobby is strikingly beautiful (though it's not air-conditioned), with a crystal dome and vines that drape over the six-storied balcony.
