Situated on the tip of Punta Cancún, this 14-story hotel offers the best views in Zona Hotelera. West-facing rooms can enjoy the sunset and both lagoon and bay views, while east-facing rooms can watch the sunrise over Isla Mujeres. Setting the stage is a dramatic, cylinder-shape lobby domed by stained glass. Throughout the contemporary building are wine-colored accents that extend into the rooms, each with stone floors, a sitting area, flat-screen TV, and spacious balcony. Room #1122 is popular, since it has stunning views of the ocean and a bi-level pool that's divided by a waterfall. Guests can relax in the garden area or in one of the daybeds near the Beach House Spa. An additional $60 will give you a top-level room, which includes a concierge, private lounge, drinks, and breakfast.
