Los Girasoles Review

Set back on one of El Centro's few quiet streets, this pleasant hotel is within walking distance of the city's main avenues and shopping centers. Easily recognizable by its bright blue color, the family-run property offers a shaded patio, vibrant rooms, and open-air staircase. Hints of Mexican decor come through in the wrought-iron headboards, local artwork, and bedding in hues of red and gold. Rooms have fans, air-conditioning, TVs, and blackout curtains for lazy mornings. Cobalt tiles frame the kitchenettes and mirrors, and there are contemporary rain showerheads in all of the bathrooms. The suites comfortably sleep up to four people and 15 of the 17 rooms have kitchenettes. For a silent night, your best options are rooms 7 and 14.
