The Royal in Cancún Review

Luxury is the focus at this high-end, adults-only resort (age 16+), where all 288 suites have mahogany furniture, Jacuzzis, ocean views, balconies with hammocks, and "magic boxes" that allow room service to be delivered without ever opening the door. All accommodations above the junior deluxe suite level offer guests additional perks, such as an online check-in option, a pillow menu, a Bose stereo system, a loaded iPod, and complimentary Internet service. The resort is adjacent to sister property Gran Caribe Real, where all guests of the Royal are allowed access. Of course, this location also means that the crowds from the much larger Gran Caribe Real are right down the beach.
