JW Marriott Cancún Resort & Spa Review
This is the best place to experience luxury, Cancún style, plus good service. Plush is the name of the game at the towering beach resort, where manicured lawns are dotted with an expansive maze of pools, and large vaulted windows let sunlight stream into a lobby decorated with marble floors and beautiful flower arrangements. All rooms have ocean views, private balconies, and wall-to-wall carpeting. Two of the hotel's best features are its three-level, 35,000-square-foot spa with indoor pool and its 20-foot dive pool with an artificial reef, where you can practice snorkeling and scuba diving. The hotel recently completed a beach recovery project which nearly tripled its width. Damage from the 2005 Hurricane Wilma resulted in major renovations, now making JW Marriott the only Cancún property able to withstand a level five hurricane.
