La Madonna Review

This dramatic-looking restaurant is a great place to enjoy a selection of 180 martinis, as well as Italian food with a "creative Swiss twist." Guests are dwarfed by a massive reproduction of the Mona Lisa and towering Greek sculptures that frame the three-story restaurant. For starters, try the pan-seared mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto. You can also enjoy classics like fettuccine with shrimp in a grappa sauce, mussels in white wine with saffron cream, and veal parmigiana served on a bed of homemade basil pasta. Cheese and chocolate lovers can try one of the chef's traditional fondues. The lychee martini is a tad expensive but worth it. In addition to the ground level patio, there's a pleasant terrace on the third floor.

we will go everytime we are in cancun

I was here with my boyfriend last time we were in cancun and wanted to go back. Absolutely fabulous food and service! This restaurant would do so well in NY, please open one soon.

OK, but you can do better!

The food is OK but not meeting my expectations after reading all the previous "5's". Service and ambience was excellent along with their deserts. It's expensive for the quality received. Recommend "La Dolce Vita" and the "La Habichuela" over this restaurant.
