The secret to this restaurant's success is its creative handling of Italian and Swiss cuisine—which explains why both carpaccio de pulpo (thin slices of fresh octopus) and cheese fondue appear on the menu. Appetizers are tempting: there's puff bread from a wood-burning oven plus a salad and antipasto bar. For something with more local flavor, try the black ravioli stuffed with lobster or Casa Rolandi's specialty Gamberoni dei Re Maya: jumbo shrimp baked in banana leaves and topped with a special Mayan sauce. Entrees are served under silver domes. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list. The beautiful dining room, attentive service, and pleasant lagoon views from the spacious patio encourage you to linger.

my favorite little spot.

love that I can strll over frm the Ritz and be greeted by the sweetest man who hosts the front door. My favorite meals are house made meat sauce on pasta. Carpaccio,wrapped melon and of course the delish pork diiner. Crispy on the outside and juicy meat inside. Love t sit on the veranda and watch the sunset. Pure heaven.
