This hotel, part of a Spanish chain, proffers a modern motif that includes bright orange balconies overlooking the white pyramid-shaped lobby. All rooms above the third floor have an ocean view, and the more spacious junior suites come with a living room and terrace; royal blue curtains and bed cushions add a splash of color to the stark white decor. Strong draws here are the huge pools lined with tall palm trees and the wide beach, which has fairly calm waters for swimming. The downside is that the sun disappears behind the hotel at around 3 o'clock, so plan on tanning early.
