A great pool, clean and basic rooms, and bargain prices are the draws at this downtown hotel. Rooms overlooking the street are noisy, but they're brighter and airier than those facing the hallways. At this price, don't expect much in the way of decor or service. You'll have to carry your own bags up two flights of stairs, and most rooms are extremely dated with green stucco walls and tiny televisions. The location is excellent however, meaning you can easily walk to downtown shops and restaurants. This hotel attracts a mix of guests, both local and foreign: business travelers, couples, and tour groups.
