This small, well-kept hotel has a decent-sized pool surrounded by wrought-iron patio furniture, and a cozy lobby bar where you can hang with locals. Each room has wood furniture, one or two double beds, a sink area separate from the bath, and tile floors. The quietest rooms face the pool-avoid the noisier ones overlooking Avenida Tulum. The lobby bar is a great place to practice Spanish. Pros: near bus terminal and main avenues. Cons: nothing fancy; rooms facing street can be noisy; no elevator.
