Mikado

Mikado Review

Sit around the teppanyaki tables and watch the utensils fly as the showmen chefs here prepare steaks, seafood, and vegetables. The menu includes Japanese specialties such as futo-maki (large sushi rolls) and panfried sea bass. The sushi, tempura, grilled salmon, and beef teriyaki are feasts fit for a shogun. For added flavor, several dishes are infused with sake or braised with Sapporo beer, like the oriental short ribs served with crispy onions. Unlike most restaurants in Cancún, however, there's no outdoor seating or scenic view.

My wife and I were very pleased with the atmosphere, quality of food. and the outstanding service! To top it off, the price was very reasonable in the land of high price resturants. We come to Cancun annually, and will add this to our list of must do's. Paul & Lisa Westbrook Las Cruces, N.M.
