Avalon Baccara Cancún Review

Amid the towering resorts with sleek, modern interiors that line the Zona Hotelera, the Avalon Baccara stands out for its small size and rustic Mexican design. Converted from a house into a hotel, this wine-color property has 27 unique units that mainly attract couples. Adorning the lobby are arched doorways, Mexican artifacts, and bamboo ceilings. A billiard table and quiet lounging area are available for those who want a break from Cancún's party zone. Although all different sizes, the rooms generally follow the overall rustic theme of the hotel, which means that most are decorated with carved wooden furniture, bright colors, and traditional artwork. The suites have balconies with hot tubs, as well as living rooms, dining areas, and kitchens. Some even have wood floors, which are charming, but creaky.
