Hotel Plaza Caribe Review

Although directly across from the bus station, this large economy hotel doesn't absorb much street noise. It has a spacious lawn in the back with a play area for children, as well as a pool and two large cages with colorful Guacamaya birds inside. Each of the hotel's standard rooms has white wooden furniture (including a small table and two chairs), a closet, and a coffeemaker. Some rooms have small windows that face the inner corridors of the building, so be sure to ask for the ones that have large windows and a pool view. The six suites seem inappropriately named; they are really just two adjoining guest rooms.
