Hotel Xbalamqué Resort & Spa Review
A refreshing retreat from the bustling streets of El Centro, this hotel has a lobby adorned with a palapa roof, waterfalls, tropical birds, and stone flooring. It forms part of a complex that also includes two restaurants and a snack shop which are open to the general public. Guests can enjoy live music in Coffeebrary, a café-library with a bohemian atmosphere. The Xbalamqué is distinctively decorated, with Mayan-themed murals, statues, and reliefs throughout the hotel. The rooms are brightly decorated with rustic Mexican furniture, mosaic-tiled bathrooms, and colorful murals painted by local artists. Equipped with an outdoor theater, this is Cancún's only hotel focused on art and culture.
